FCAT UPDATE
Student FCAT scores are now available for parent pick up in our front office. Office summer hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Parents can also access their child's scores through the Virtual Counselor Website.
Free Immunizations Available
Need to update your child's immunizations before the 2010-2011 school year begins? Free immunizations are being offered this summer through the following programs: The Health Services department of Broward County Schools in conjunction with the Broward County Health Department is announcing free immunizations through their Community Partner Outreach program. Immunizations will be offered at various sites in the community through out the summer. Classes may be out, but our office is still open each Monday - Thursday. We will be accepting registrations from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
ROUNDING UP FUTURE KINDERGARTNERS
Do you have a child who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2010? We are currently registering kindergartners for the 2010-2011 school year. To register your child, you will need to the following documents: • Your child’s original birth certificate. • An updated physical form. • A completed shot record, form 680. • Two proofs of residency with your name and address on it. For instance: a phone bill, water bill, electric bill, lease or mortgage agreement, etc. Tell Your Neighbors!
Important Information About Free/Reduced Meal Applications
The Multi-Child Application for Meal Benefits for 2010-2011, will be available on-line July 1st for parents to complete. The web address for Food and Nutrition Services is broward.k12.fl.us/foodservice . Parents can click on Free and Reduced Price Meals, then click on Online Application. Please complete the application on-line to expedite the process. Don't forget: students must be approved for Free or Reduced Meals BEFORE an application can be submitted for a partial fee waiver.
